Amelinsalen – The Amelin Hall

A modern airy conference room. Excellent for large meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

Amelinsalen is named after the large painting “Från ett växthus” (From a greenhouse) by Albin Amelin that hangs on one side of the room. This fabulous painting was earlier hung in the mine’s canteen, the so-called “Mojsen”. At the shutdown of the mine, it was decided that the painting would be left in Grängesberg and that it would hang in Cassel.

Many of the other works of art in Cassel have previously existed in the various conference rooms within the mining company and were also donated to Cassel.

Amelinsalen can seat 50-60 people and includes conference equipment, a TV and video player. Directly adjacent is also a kitchenette with the possibility to brew coffee, etc.

The furniture in the room is of Swedish quality. The fittings in the ceiling are hand-blown glass from Germany. The floor is a genuine oak parquet.
